Small diner, big food
Since the first egg hit the grill in 1996, the Galaxie Diner has been serving up delicious meals at fair prices. Our Breakfast Burrito is legendary. So is the vegetarian Cody Scramble, not to mention Calgary's only one price, unlimited choice omelette.
The Galaxie recalls classic diners of the 1940s, with cooks grilling and plating in an open kitchen and patrons seated at vintage wooden booths. When it's busy, which is most of the time, a line for seats extends out the front door. The diner has become as much a local gathering place as a breakfast joint. We specialize in feeding friends, families, and hangovers.
The proprietor of the Galaxie is Brad Myhre. He's the one who insists on using real butter and pure maple syrup. He also owns Myhre's Deli, the superb smoked meat shop next door.
